This Privacy Policy explains how Flavor Journal handles information. Nixdorf does not collect, log, sell, share, or retain personal user data through normal use of the app.

Flavor Journal is a personal culinary journal for recording dishes, drinks, recipe notes, tastings, ratings, flavor tags and memories. The app is designed to work without registration or a Nixdorf user account.
We do not collect personal information.
Flavor Journal does not require your name, email address, phone number, account, profile, precise location, contacts or other personal details in order to use the app.
Nixdorf does not use normal app activity to build advertising profiles or track you across services.
No Nixdorf cloud profile.
Journal content used by the app may exist locally on your own device as part of normal app functionality. Nixdorf does not receive or store that journal content in a server-side personal user account database.
Local device data remains under your control and is not treated as data retained by Nixdorf.
Nixdorf retains no personal user data from normal use of Flavor Journal.
Because Flavor Journal does not send personal journal information to a Nixdorf user-profile database, Nixdorf has no personal app-user records to retain on company servers through normal use of the application.
If the app stores journal entries or preferences locally on your device, that local information remains on the device until you remove it, clear the application's data, or uninstall the application.
No remote profile needs to be deleted.
Nixdorf does not maintain a server-side personal account database for Flavor Journal through normal use, so there is normally no remote user profile or cloud journal record for Nixdorf to delete.
No sale or sharing of app-user data.
Since Nixdorf does not collect personal information through normal use of Flavor Journal, there is no app-user personal data for Nixdorf to sell or share with third parties.
Flavor Journal does not collect precise real-time location information from your device for normal use.
Less data means less exposure.
Nixdorf minimizes privacy risk by not collecting personal app-user information through normal use. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and reasonable safeguards are used for any information Nixdorf may lawfully hold outside normal app use, such as voluntary support correspondence.
Flavor Journal is not directed to children under 13.
Nixdorf does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through normal use of Flavor Journal. If a parent or guardian believes a child has voluntarily provided personal information to Nixdorf outside the app, please contact us so the matter can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.

Nixdorf may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, Nixdorf will provide it.
